Enrique Muller is a celebrated architect whose distinguished career spans over three decades, firmly establishing him as a figure in coastal design. Based in Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo, Muller has made a mark on the field of architecture with his designs with a portfolio including more than 100 projects.
He skillfully employs local materials and traditional techniques, blending them with modern design principles to create structures that feel both timeless and contemporary. Muller’s designs are known for their seamless integration with the landscape, maximizing ocean views and natural light while minimizing environmental impact.
One of Muller’s crowning achievements is the acclaimed "La Casa que Canta Hotel," which has been recognized as the most beautiful hotel in the world. This landmark project not only earned recognition for its design but also received several prestigious awards. In 2016, "La Casa que Canta" was named the #1 Most Romantic Hotel by Travel + Leisure, and in 2017, it secured the top spot as the Best Pacific Coast Hotel in Mexico according to U.S. News & World Report. As well as many features in national and international magazines.
In 2023, Enrique Muller was honored with the prestigious State Merit in Architecture, recognizing his exceptional professional trajectory and contributions to the field of architecture.
Even though he has developed a diversity of project, he has specialized in beach homes and we are lucky to have him in Las Olas' team to design our public areas as well as some of our model homes. His involvement enhances the functionality of our project, reflecting his deep understanding of coastal environments and his commitment to creating exceptional spaces.
